Installation

Steps

  1. Set up VirtualLens 2 on your avatar with the non-destructive setup. Keep VirtualLens 2 in Assets/VirtualLens2.
  2. Import the Nakao Filter unitypackage. This creates Assets/KengoNakao Works/NakaoFilter.
  3. Put one of these prefabs directly under the avatar root (the object with the VRC Avatar Descriptor).

    Prefab Menu language
    NakaoFilter [JP] Japanese
    NakaoFilter [EN] English
    NakaoFilter [KO] Korean (beta)
    NakaoFilter [ZH-TW] Traditional Chinese (beta)
  4. Upload as usual.

Put only one prefab on each avatar. With two or more prefabs (for example two languages), the upload stops with an error. You do not need a prefab for each filter.

The menu is added inside the VirtualLens 2 menu. Every filter starts off.

Updating

  1. In Unity, delete the folder Assets/KengoNakao Works/NakaoFilter.
  2. Import the new unitypackage.
  3. Put the prefab on the avatar again and upload.

The settings saved in VRChat are kept after updating.

Nakao Filter Setup

"Nakao Filter Setup" in the prefab's Inspector has these settings.
